Following troubleshooting steps can be performed by RITC officers or branch staff.
Document has been sent to printer
To view complete message keep mouse cursor on the message bar.The message will be The message will be “ok journal The Printer \\172.30.172.39\pb1 could not be initialised …” .
Print the front page of that account and then print transactions.
No txns to print
Do transaction enquiry for that account.If there are txns to be printed, go for Passbook Printing transactions(Duplicate).
Txns are getting printed twice.
This happens if duplicate transactions are printed directly without printing original transactions.
A particular column in the passbook is not printed
Document has been sent to printer
- Print test page from the printer machine. If it is not printed, call vendor.
- Print test page from gateway server. If it is not printed, check for connectivity of the printer machine. Call DC and give them ip address of printer machine asking them to connect printer to server.

- Check if your printers queues are in standard format. That is name of the printer and the IP Address given is correct Navigation : Administrative Menu-> Branch Maintenance ->List all printer queues
- Open windows explorer in gateway PC and navigate to the printer machine. You will see printer, select it and right click. Then click on Connect.
- Further if problem exists then contact CDC giving them ip address of the printer machine.
- Verify that the driver selected is IBM proprinter.
- Verify that a form of size 8.1 X 6.3 is attached to the printer.
- Verify the physical settings of the printer.

- Print test page.
- Verify if there are spaces printed in the test page in that particular column.
- Type a line in notepad and print it
- Verify the line printed in notepad is 3-4 line down
- Verify the top of form position in printer.
- In case of WINCORE printer the top of form position can be adjusted in settings
- In case of OLIVETTI this settings should be done by vendor.
